Air hoses come in diverse types. The most prevalent one is the 300psi air hose, which can have either a smooth or wrapped surface. In addition to this common variant, there exists another high-pressure option – the yellow wire-reinforced air hose. So, how familiar are you with this 40bar air pipe?
Standard Sizes: Ranging from 3/4” to 2”
Working Pressure: 600PSI or 40BAR
Construction: Comprises an inner tube, steel wire braiding or spiral reinforcement, and an outer tube.
Color: The typical color is yellow, although we can customize it to other colors based on customer requests.
Length: For hoses above 3/4”, the common lengths are 20m and 40m.
Printing Details: On the yellow hose, you’ll often see red printed words or red stripes with yellow printed words.
Packaging Options: Both half pack and full pack are available. The half pack is advantageous as it makes it easier to distinguish the tube type.
Pin Pricking Purpose: This is done to avert bulging and bursting of the steel wire-reinforced air tube.
Applications
Ideal for heavy-duty air supply scenarios where high temperatures are present. It’s suitable for use with high-temperature compressors lacking an after-cooler, as well as in mining, quarries, construction, industrial air systems, sand blasting operations, and with heavy-duty equipment.
