Material selection
Use high-quality PVC materials
Choose PVC resin with high moisture resistance and water resistance. High-quality PVC materials have a tight molecular structure and low water absorption, which can reduce the impact of moisture on the performance of the hose and maintain its mechanical strength.
Add appropriate additives
Add appropriate amounts of additives such as moisture-proof agents, antioxidants and stabilizers to the PVC formula. Moisture-proof agents can prevent moisture from entering the interior of the hose; antioxidants can prevent PVC materials from reducing their strength due to oxidation in a humid environment; stabilizers help improve the stability of PVC under different environmental conditions and reduce performance changes.
Use rust-proof steel wire
Choose steel wire that has been treated with rust prevention, such as galvanized steel wire or stainless steel wire. These steel wires have good corrosion resistance and can effectively prevent rust in a humid environment. Therefore, the steel wire is guaranteed to strengthen the hose and maintain the overall strength of the PVC steel wire hose.
Surface treatment
Apply moisture-proof coating
Apply a moisture-proof coating, such as polyurethane coating or silicone coating, to the outer surface of the hose. These coatings have good waterproof properties. They can form a protective film on the surface of the hose, preventing moisture from contacting the PVC material and steel wire, thereby playing a role in moisture-proofing and protecting the hose. This in turn improves its strength in a humid environment.
Perform surface passivation treatment
The surface of the hose is passivated, such as using a chemical passivator to treat the PVC surface to form a passivation film. This passivation film can improve the surface stability of the PVC material. At the same time, it reduces the erosion of the hose by moisture and other corrosive substances. This helps to maintain the strength of the PVC spring hose.
