Raw materials
PVC resin
The purity, molecular weight and distribution of PVC resin will affect the performance of gas pipes. PVC resin with high purity, moderate molecular weight and uniform distribution can make gas pipes have better strength, toughness and aging resistance.
Additives
The type and amount of additives such as plasticizers, stabilizers and anti-aging agents are also crucial. A moderate amount of high-quality plasticizers can improve the flexibility of the gas hose. Efficient stabilizers can prevent PVC from decomposing during processing and use. Anti-aging agents can enhance the ability of hoses to resist environmental factors such as light, heat, and oxygen, and extend their service life. If the additives are of poor quality or improperly used, the performance of the hose may be reduced. For example, problems such as hardening, brittleness or premature aging may occur.
Environmental factors
Temperature and humidity
The temperature and humidity of the production environment have a certain impact on the quality of PVC gas pipes. Under high temperature conditions, the fluidity of PVC materials will increase. This may cause deformation or dimensional deviation of the pipe during the molding process. When the humidity is high, the raw materials are prone to absorb moisture, affecting the performance of the product. For example, the insulation performance of the pipe is reduced and defects such as bubbles are easily generated.
Storage environment
The storage environment after product production is equally important. If the storage environment temperature is too high, direct sunlight or corrosive gases are present, it will accelerate the aging of the PVC gas pipe. This will reduce its performance and service life.
